Gangs in Britain: Now is the Time to Act
Tuesday 23 February 2009, 11.30am registration, 12 noon - 2.30pm
The Abbey Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, London, SW1 3BU
Map
It is imperative that as a society we act now to stem the tide of gang culture and violence. Young people should not be dying on the streets of our great cities. The CSJ has published policy recommendations that offer hope to communities devastated by gang violence. These policies cannot be implemented soon enough. Now is the time to act.
Join us for a presentation of our gangs policy work, hear from those affected by gang crime, a former gang member now helping others exit gang culture, plus a lively debate with policy experts.
