Grace Dodwell

Researcher

I joined the CSJ in June 2024 as a researcher in the Education team. Prior to this I studied History at Cambridge with a special interest in late modern international history. My final year dissertation focused on New York in the 1800s, specifically, the poverty and prejudice facing Italian immigrants and the cause and effects of organised crime. Following my graduation, I joined the CSJ for a period of work experience. It struck me that the process of researching and creating policy would be an amazing opportunity to galvanise the analytical elements that I loved during my degree but in an environment as meaningful and impactful as the CSJ.

Something you might not know about me

At school I was a keen chorister and part of a choir that performed regularly at St John’s Smith Square, opposite where I now work in the CSJ offices!
