Luke Taylor

Researcher

I was drawn to the CSJ because I wholeheartedly believe in their mission to focus Government attention on the root causes on poverty. By taking a holistic approach to poverty with their five pathways, the CSJ recognises the need for a wide range of solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing the UK today.

Coming from a household very involved with social action in the local community, I have always been aware of left-behind groups in society, be that those suffering from homelessness, addiction or food-poverty. So having the chance to listen to and speak for these groups as part of my research work for the CSJ is a real motivator.

Prior to my time at the CSJ I studied Politics at university and then worked in Parliament for a Conservative MP.
