Steve Meadwell

Regional Manager (Midlands)

I work for the CSJ because I want to see positive change across the community and to help direct impact on a wider scale. I have always worked with the mindset that to meet need, all areas of the community need to work together to develop relationships – the CSJ Foundation and the CSJ’s 5 pathways model supports this.

With over 20 years’ experience working in the Education and Charitable sector I have led and created projects supporting the most vulnerable children excluded from school, formed and steered projects supporting families with high levels of poverty, worked alongside individuals suffering addiction, and partnered with leaders to develop change.

Having first-hand experience of the many challenges faced by these groups has developed a passion in me to see greater change in people’s lives. My role as Head of Region for the midlands gets me out into the community observing first-hand the great work being developed and achieved.

I love the ethos and vision of The CSJ and how it aims to bring the voices of those on the ground to Westminster to drive policy change.

Something you might not know about me

I am a keen golfer and have been lucky enough to have had 3 hole in ones. At the age of 40 I bought my own Pioneer Decks and taught myself to DJ.
