From Baby Boom to Baby Bust: The social and economic consequences of falling birthrates

Join an insightful panel discussion chaired by Fraser Nelson from the Spectator on the impact of the birth gap with Miriam Cates MP, Rosie Duffield MP, demographic expert Stephen Shaw and economist Philip Pilkington.

The panel will explore the ‘baby bust’, demonstrating the existence of the birth gap, its impact and challenges falling birthrates pose to the UK.

The discussion will begin with a series of short speeches and will end with a panel discussion and Q&A introduced by Andy Cook, Chief Executive of the Centre for Social Justice.
