Centre for Social Justice at the Labour Party Conference 2023
Sunday 8th October | 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM | Room 17, The ACC
Monday 9th October | 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM | Room 23, The ACC
This year, we are bringing the Social Justice Hub to the Labour Party Conference, which will feature prominent figures from the UK’s political landscape, thought leaders, and influential media commentators.
Sunday’s keynote event at 5.30pm with Jonathan Ashworth MP and Camilla Tominey asks what social justice would look like in a new Labour Government.
Monday’s panels include Kate Green, Deputy Mayor of Manchester; Sir Stephen Timms, Chair of the DWP Committee; Yvonne Fovargue MP; Paula Barker MP, the Shadow Minister for Devolution and the English Regions; and Dame Rachel de Souza, Children’s Commissioner, among others. They will engage in discussions addressing critical social issues confronting our nation, such as the cost-of-living crisis, getting children back to school, social housing challenges, and problem debt.
For those at Conference, all events are free to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
For those unable to attend, watch live on the Centre for Social Justice LinkedIn site.
