Unsafe Children: Driving up our country’s response to child sexual abuse and exploitation

Summary:

The violation of a child, whether for profit or personal gratification, is one of the most abhorrent crimes it’s possible to commit. Perhaps because of that, this country has not yet come to terms with the scale of suffering that’s being inflicted in our own backyard – online and on the streets.

We don’t pretend the solutions to this are comfortable or straightforward. They require hard truths and no small amount of political courage. However, we have the opportunity. We have the expertise. Get this right and we can change the future of the most precious members of our society.
